As we look ahead to another year of learning, connection, and collaboration, we would first like to extend our sincere thank you to everyone who attended and supported the 2025 Summit. Your participation helped make our first year back a tremendous success, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued engagement of our members, partners, and sponsors.
As our profession continues to evolve, there has been recent discussion regarding continuing education requirements in British Columbia. While continuing education credits are no longer mandated in BC, HIPSBC strongly encourages all practitioners to continue tracking and pursuing ongoing professional development.
Continuing education benefits not only those who participate, but ultimately the patients and communities we serve through enhanced knowledge, skills, and standards of care. It is also important to recognize that continuing education remains a requirement in all other provinces. As a provincial society and national partner, HIPSBC will continue to advocate for lifelong learning and remain committed to offering accredited educational opportunities for our members and Summit attendees.
We are excited to welcome you into the new year and hope we can once again count on your support as we come together at the 2026 HIPSBC Summit. We look forward to learning, sharing, and advancing our profession together.
